Mother Connie Sez: "Table for Three?"

Every so once in awhile Mother Connie needs her peeps-as in people.

Today was one of those days.

Some folks are motivated by critters; others like to work with numbers.  There are people in this world who like to be alone or shun groups because they are shy or just not people  oriented.

Mother Connie, however, is people driven.  While alone time is fine and necessary it is PEOPLE who light my fire!  I want to know how they are REALLY and I crave knowing in what activities they are immersed.  There is an underlying and sincere need to connect and talk and listen to other human beings.  It floats my proverbial boat.

So it was our good fortune today to learn that our beloved Pastor Kathy would be in town for worship at the care center.  She would be amenable to lunching with us and she could work her schedule so we could TALK.  We women had things to discuss:  books, dreams, family, clothes, food, faith, and the homework she challenged us from the pulpit.

Pastor Kathy's palette is not finicky; she seemed to happy with the carrot/pumpkin soup and salad of butter lettuce, sprouts and veggies.  She liked that chia seeds were sprinkled on her turkey sammie and that the coffee flowed fresh and hot.  She did not even object to the fact there was no dessert.  The Normanator was not so easily sold on the idea of a meal sans dessert, however.

It was my great pleasure to share with Pastor Kathy the events of last night's Toastmaster meeting at the prison.  She was particularly interested when I shared the story of the speech  given by one of our newer members about a Toastmaster who was conspicuously absent from our club meeting.

The title of Aaron's speech was "Forgive Me.  I'm a Little Clingy."  He spoke about how life is similar to an ocean as he held up the visual aid called for in his speaker's manual.  He mentioned how life has its ups and downs.  He showed us a drawing of a boat, which had someone at one end who wanted to put his hands into the water; on the opposite end was a stick figure that indicated he was relaxed.  The guy in the middle, another stick figure, was wound around the mast as if never to let go.

Aaron explained that he knew a fellow inmate who found spiritual strength in prison.  He'd never known that before and he chose to cling to that as a new way of living and behaving.  He stayed true to his new beliefs, even though prison life does not necessarily lend itself to walking a Godly path.  Aaron's visual aid showed a stick figure with his arms wrapped around a cross.

Recently as Aaron and his friend strolled the prison yard, his dear friend was brutally attacked.  He refused to fight back, declaring he would cling to his newly discovered, more spiritual way of life.

The recipient of the attacked was found to be guilty, irrespective of the facts; he was handcuffed and escorted to "the hole."

The gasp in the audience was audible at this point.  Aaron went on to explain that the victim had since been taken out of his place of punishment and had been "promoted" to a new facility, where he is preparing to be released from prison.

With this update, the whole room erupted in cheers and applause!  The right thing had finally happened for this man and we were so grateful he clung to his beliefs, his faith and experienced a favorable outcome.

Pastor Kathy and I did not discuss the fact that faith and spirituality is a powerful force with which to be reckoned. It was pretty much understood. As she drove away, I thought about the wonderful moments we had shared and how peaceful and full of joy my own life is. AND, I'd had my "Kathy Fix."

People fixes are easy/breezy.  If one's life is joyless and full of woe, anxiety, fear and ugliness a simple people fix may not be the remedy.  Energy Medicine, on the other hand, is just the ticket to infuse wellness, love, peace, joy and fun into a life that may be lagging.

The Healing Codes: Are You in Crisis Mode?

There is no denying that we live in trying times. The economic picture is gloomy. People are losing their homes. Floods and fires and war and strife dominate the newscasts on every channel of the television. Some of us feel anxious and worried. We are so afraid it makes us sick. Literally.

There are three things we can do when we feel as if we are in crisis mode. In fact, things can be going swimmingly in the EXTERNAL environment but if we are INTERNALLY feeling stressed and critically upset, we ARE in that crisis mode. The reverse is also true: when things are bad outside ourselves, we can feel a peace inside ourselves if we keep our wits about us.

Here are the three things to keep in mind:
  1. Remember who you are.
  2. Keep to the fundamentals.
  3. Give up the end result.
1. Whenever we feel so badly that it is a crisis, we have lost our identity. We have had thoughts of self rejection; someone has rejected us in some way; we might feel rejected by God. We feel shame or guilt. We feel we have been judged or unforgiven. We feel inadequate. We feel so bad that we are in a crisis mode. It is important to remember the truth about who we really are.

2. Keeping to the fundamentals means that we will live moment by moment in truth and love. If we remain in falsehoods and fear, we stay in crisis mode. Truth and love will deliver us into states of success, high energy, joy, peace and fun!

3. By giving up the end result, we relinquish expectations. Dr. Dan Gilbert of Harvard University and Dr. Joe Mercola have thoroughly researched the matter of expectations and have concluded that the expectations of future results are absolutely sure to kill happiness! The chronic state of feeling fight or flight produces internal crises that cannot produce joy or any good thing.

It's very important to focus on truth and love. Do you remember the song whose words said something like "Accent-uate the positive; eliminate the negative and don't mess with Mr. In Between?" That lyricist understood the critical nature of living in truth and love.

If shame, guilt, fear and all the rest of it are too much to tolerate, and you have grave difficulty finding truth and experiencing love you would benefit mightily from prayer and Energy Medicine. Prayer was probably the very first Energy Medicine "product" and it is highly effective. Energy Medicine is yet another tool in the tool kit of life.

Emotions, feelings and desires are the powers that push people to take action.
--Remez Sasson

At our recent Toastmasters meeting of LibOrators our Table Topics Master asked me to discuss a matter with passion, which I was charmed to do.

Some people shy away from their emotions and do not express their feelings with passion. Maybe they think others will disagree with them; perhaps they fear that someone will show disdain for them for making any statement. It may be that they have not identified their feeling and because of that, they simply have not formed any opinion. Or they do not really admit-even to themselves- what it is they truly desire.

In any case, you can know with every fiber of your being that people-ALL PEOPLE-have been programmed from birth forward to believe something, even if that something is incorrect.

It's a matter of perception, really. The small child may PERCEIVE that his busy mother is ignoring him, so he misbehaves to draw her attention to him. This causes Mommy to focus on the child so the youngster PERCEIVES that he must be naughty to get Mommy's attention. I'll bet you have children like that on your block! I know guys like that who took a trip to prison!

We all do whatever it is we do because of what we believe. And what we THINK we believe may just well be a lot of bad programming! Dr. Alex Loyd refers to this as "heart junk" and when he refers to the heart, he means the 'I love you with all my heart' heart.

The truth lives in our I-love-you-with-all-my-heart heart. The unconscious mind sends messages to the brain, which is the image maker. We all have this; we think in pictures with our conscious minds.

King Solomon knew this centuries ago. Do you suppose that's how Solomon earned the reputation for being so wise?

Science has caught up to what Solomon knew. They agree that most illnesses are borne of stress.

When we live without truth, we also forfeit joy. First, we become stressed. It's our bodies' way of responding. The stress wears the body out until we become ill. All because of not living with truth and love! We cram more heart junk into our lives than our cells can process!

Of course we can undo all that stressful, untruthful living if we but employ a simple tool called Energy Medicine. To learn what Energy Medicine can do for people, please click on these words to visit The Healing Codes.

You have seen quotes on this blog by Dr. Bruce Lipton. Soon I will be publishing a book review about his book, "The Biology of Belief." I hope you will look forward to reading that.

Life was never meant to be stressful or joyless or without love and caring. We can all be well and happy if we understand ourselves with clarity and use the tools sent from Heaven to create the kinds of lives we dream. What might Energy Medicine do for YOU and those you love?

Patrick Swayze: GONE?

Many in this world feel sad today because Patrick Swayze lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. We who are left behind ask many blessings on the family and friends of Patrick as they mourn his passing.

Those of us who flocked to his movies and moved to the beat of the music while he strutted his stuff-the dance moves his mother taught him-are all wishing it were not so.

What could have saved this famous man? Goodness knows he must have had the means to treat the disease in any way he chose. He had radiation and chemotherapy, according to the news sources I heard.

All the fund raisers in the world did not help Patrick Swayze. Heaven only knows the research did not find a cure in time to save the man. Exercise alone did not save him from the ravages of cancer. Radiation only burned him. Chemo only poisoned him. The dollars people ran, biked, hiked, begged for the cancer coffers only produced nails for yet another coffin.

The so called 'war' on cancer is about like the quagmire we saw in the shoot-em-up war in VietNam. Lots of action, lots of dead bodies. No relief.

Somehow this nation of sheep has deluded themselves they must 'ask your doctor' and obediently follow the yellow brick road as laid out by Big Medicine and Big Pharma. Take your medicine, keep your appointments, make sure you have a positive attitude.

When do you think, if ever, the pendulum will swing and we will again think for ourselves? When will we listen to our bodies? When will we understand that traditional methods only serve a certain segment of the population and that segment does not necessarily include those with cancer? Nor does it seem to help anyone with any ailment.

What's the answer? We know folks get sick in spite of their diets, their routines, their supplements and even their beliefs! Is there NO relief from the draconian diagnoses with the heinous side effects and hideous outcomes?

There is a faction who believes and teaches that illness is borne of imbalance. The pH factors in-if a body is too acid, it becomes sick. If a body becomes dehydrated, it will be sick enough to expire.

So, what IS the answer? One way to deal with ANY ailment, no matter what the cause or what the name might be is-you guessed it-energy medicine.

Energy medicine is a tool for wellness. It's not the ONLY tool in the toolkit but it's a very good one. If you are interested to learn how this tool operates, it behooves you to visit The Healing Codes to learn exactly how Energy Medicine can help you and those you love.

Do you have an opinion to share about this or a comment about Patrick Swayze? We'd love to have you chime in. We do moderate the comments before they are published but we are interested to hear what you have to say. Thank you for stopping by and for your participation.

Cruising Down the River On a Sunday Afternoon?

Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Alex Loyd and Dr. Ben Johnson are all spokespersons for living in truth and love. Each of these good doctors understand implicitly the importance of expectations.

Your humble blogger makes every effort to keep this in mind as life happens. Joy is always the goal, but it's never a good idea to set yourself up for disappointment when you anticipate any event.

When we were invited to a concert on the Belle of Brownville Riverboat I imagined that it would be enjoyable. Beyond that, I held no high expectations.

I'm here to tell you that I can't imagine Heaven being any more joyous than that riverboat cruise!

There were about 50 members of the widely acclaimed Southeast Nebraska Community Band on board. They opened and closed the concert with their signature songs, "Star Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America" and in between those were everything from rock n roll and polka music to marches, movie theme songs and big band sounds. We clapped and tapped our way up and down the Missouri River as we were treated to the stunning scenery.

It was interesting to note that on this bright and breezy mid September afternoon the greenery of the deciduous trees was marvelously, breathtakingly gorgeous! Those trees are not yet showing signs of fall the way the trees in our yard just West of there are!

We passed underneath the Missouri River bridge and saw cars slow down because they could hear the beautiful music floating up and then down the river. We watched with fascination the mud daubers nests on the supports for the bridge. We were mesmerized by the flow of the current as the big riverboat paddled along.

There was an announcement about food being served, so the crowd on the upper deck, where we were seated, snaked their way to the serving tables. The array of food displayed there gave a whole new meaning to the word 'smorgasbord' and I never in all my born days saw such a variety of delicious foods! As if they had not offered us ENOUGH hospitality, they also made sure we knew that second helpings were available! Oh, my stars and garters!

As we traveled, so did the sun and there were warm spots and shady places which changed the look of the landscape. It was fluid, it was alive, it seemed to evolving.
Over the three hours or so we enjoyed the company of other music lovers on that boat the time seemed to evaporate! When it was over, and the time came for us to dock and walk to our vehicles, it felt as if we had been dreaming the whole afternoon.

In my wildest imagination, I would never have dreamed that an event, a day could be so perfect. We experienced JOY at its most JOYOUS!

Now we savor the memory of being together with precious friends, wonderful music, food for our bodies and our soul and we thank our Creator for giving us such a delicious time in our lives!

No need for Energy Medicine today, Dr. Loyd. If need be, we can find it, though:

Sans Adult Supervision?

This looks exactly the way I feel when The Normanator goes to work and leaves me
at home, without benefit of adult supervision!

Truth be told, I am very easily amused.

When left to my own devices I can while away the hours daydreaming, eating chocolate, reading, or doing absolutely nothing.

I feel free to run through the house, singing as loudly as I can. I have license to jump on the beds, if I want to. SIDEBAR: I often don't really want to; I prefer to threaten that I might jump on the beds. After all, I'm the one who must tend to the beds! END SIDEBAR. I may choose to chat on the cordless phone and dust the furniture OR I can choose NOT to dust. Mealtime is whenever, not according to a clock. Paying attention to the desires-or lack thereof- of my appetite is to my discretion alone.

Common sense dictates that I would be wise to be concerned with the whereabouts of the Fun Police. If they are patrolling within earshot, there is every chance that they could threaten to take me to Kangaroo Kourt, to be judged by a panel of my peers.

That wouldn't be so bad, you see. They could round up other children in the neighborhood-I did say "PEERS" did I not?-and they would understand my ways.

I may talk with those children as soon as they come home from school. Maybe their moms will let them come for a tea party in the front yard today. I have lemon cookies and peach tea! I feel a party coming on!

We could all live our lives in "party mode" and experience the delightful joy that is ours by our birthright, if only we WOULD make that CHOICE!

If you aren't experiencing childlike joy in your life that could enhance your quality of life, maybe you need a dose of Energy Medicine.

I can connect you with all the right folks. CLICK HERE for more information.

In the meantime, I would highly suggest you burst into song right this minute and don't fret or even concern yourself about what other people think!

The Healing Codes: Who is in Control?

When you have a child in your care who begs to eat an entire large bag of candy 30 minutes before mealtime, you aren't likely to allow that. As an adult, you understand better than the youngster that eating that much candy is not a wise choice and eating anything so close to mealtime is not a good plan.

In this scenario, you are making healthy decisions where a child is concerned.

On the other hand, if you were the caretaker of a youngster who wears a life jacket, has taken Red Cross swimming instruction and requests to swim in a pool where there is a lifeguard but you denied that request for fear he might drown, that would come down on the side of over protection with respect to a child.

What is there about healthy decisions? Where does an unhealthy decision originate? How do healthy decisions happen?

According to Dan Gilbert and Harvard University, all decisions come from our programming. Our hearts-the 'I love you with all my heart' heart-have all the information we have been given during our entire lifetime.

Dr. Alex Loyd teaches that programming offered from fear, shame, guilt and anger is incorrect and false. Dr. Loyd calls this programming "heart junk."

In the examples we offer the first one indicates a healthy decision borne of truth and love. The second example shows what a decision looks like when it comes from a place of fear or anger.

The underlying issue in coming from a place of fear or anger is control and expectation. The person who wants to demand a desired outcome is looking at the end result, expecting his wishes to materialize. That person suffers from the stress brought on by the Fight or Flight response triggered by anger or fear. The better outcome would take place for all concerned if the "Controller" could set aside the bad feelings and focus only on the situation that IS in the present.

This is not a situation where a "quick fix" will ameliorate any given situation. Time, patience, love, truth, and tools to effect a change are required.

One of the most effective tools known to help people learn how to relinquish control is

Energy Medicine. When Energy Medicine is employed, there is a strategy, a protocol, a set of rules to help the heart junk to dissipated. When the heart junk is gone, only truth and love can remain. This is very helpful in making good, healthy decisions in peoples' lives.

We are meant to exist in love with joy and peace and abundance. If you are not

experiencing these fruits you might be well advised to look into what The Healing Codes might do to improve the quality of your life and the lives of those you hold dear.

Incidentally, if you are one of the many people who have experienced the transformational effects of Energy Medicine and The Healing Codes won't you please share your experiences with us by placing a comment in the comment box so all can benefit? We so appreciate your efforts in this regard. Thank you.

The Healing Codes: What Do You WANT?

Let's pretend we were all together in a great, big theater and I asked you, "What do you want more than anything right now?" You would tell me you want a new house, a new car, a spouse, a new desk or any number of other things.

We are still pretending now. I would then ask you this question: "Why do you want THAT?" When you told me why, I would ask you again, 'WHY do you want THAT?' and I would continue to ask that question until you could no longer tell me why you want whatever it is you want.

For real, we all want the very same things. Most of the time when asked 'what do you want?' we make a LIST of STUFF. But what we really yearn for, deep within our very selves is love, joy, peace, freedom, and worth. Those are not things you see with your baby blues.

I am pretty sure that Solomon's wisdom of three thousand years ago is still sound. He talked about the affairs of our hearts and taught that God is the SOURCE of love, peace and joy. Today's modern medicine admits that 95% of all illness stems from stress-affairs of our hearts. And psychologists from all over have studied mental, emotional and psychological issues. They agree that unseen issues contribute to life's chaos.

So if we know Solomon was correct and we agree that we are stressed and it is showing up in all kinds of symptoms, then why DON'T we prioritize our lives differently? There are three simple reasons and here is the list:
  1. We do not believe God is the source of our goodness; we might think it's a car or house
  2. Faulty programming. We've been trained to believe that we must suffer or that our worth is wrapped around a BMW.
  3. We are hard wired to avoid pain and seek pleasure. It's in our DNA.
What, then are our options?
  1. Believe the truth about yourself, your situation, what you REALLY want.
  2. Prayer is really powerful and highly effective
  3. Energy Medicine is a wonderful tool for living your best life and providing what you really do want in your life.
  4. Choose LOVE and TRUTH over your Pain/Pleasure programming. Choosing correctly may be painful but will help you get what it is you truly want.
  5. Focus your thoughts on love, joy, and peace-all the 'things' you cannot SEE and you will see how content you will feel and you will truly have whatever it is you want.
According to Dr. Alex Loyd, Harvard University studied two groups of people for six months. One group was made up of lottery winners who had struck it rich. The other group was a collection of people who had been in accidents which rendered them paraplegic. Both groups were questioned about their level of happiness for the six month study. The findings were that there was NO DIFFERENCE in the level of happiness between the two groups!

Now, if I were to ask you once again, "What do you want more than anything in the world right now?" has your answer changed? Do you have a different perspective? Does it make sense to you that whatever you want is not something you can SEE?

For information about how Energy Medicine can help you have what you really want, please go here now.

The Healing Codes: Are YOU Easily Offended?

Alex and Hope were newlyweds. He loved her madly and always wanted to please his bride so when they planned a date night he would ask her where she wanted to eat.

Hope would lie and say, "I don't care."

So Alex would ask if she had any ideas or preferences.

Again, came another lie: "No."

Alex himself said he was never the only one to describe Hope as sweet and shy; quiet and gentle. So when it came time to choose an eatery, he might go for the burger joint. They would have their meal and he would be unaware she had lied to him about this seemingly insignificant truth.

Some time later-it might be WEEKS-Hope would accuse him of purposely choosing his preferences over hers in a fit of anger. She even assigned motive: "You chose that place because you know I can't stand the decor" or whatever it happened to be.

This was shocking to Alex because EVERYBODY knew that Hope was sweet and shy; quiet and gentle. Where had all this venom been hiding?

It took a long, long time for this couple to resolve this business of her being so touchy about things. She was often VERY easily offended and it took some time and study to understand it.

We all know we can be offended from time to time. What we may not know, and what Alex and Hope learned, thankfully, is that it is borne of a humility problem!

Let's define humility: First, what humility is NOT-it is NOT behaving like a Melvin Milk Toast, all meek and mild and passive. Humility is believing the truth about who you really are.

Not to believe the truth about who you really are is the root of the problem when people are easily offended.

You see, there are a couple of things in play in the matter of being easily offended. One is a COMPARISON. For example, you might see someone who looks as if he is better looking than you. Conversely, you might see a person who is not so good looking as you. Either which way, you are COMPARING.

The other thing is EXPECTATION. In Alex and Hope's case, she EXPECTED Alex to know that she did not like certain things. Never mind that she had never told him what she liked or disliked until she became angry!

Dean Gilbert, of Harvard University has said, "Expectations are an absolute happiness killer!" It's true.

Both COMPARISON and EXPECTATION come from a human need for security and safety. If our hearts contain cellular memory from a time when we were not safe or not secure we can be in jeopardy of believing a lie. That insecurity, that feeling of being unsafe can lead to one of two reactions: Fight or Flight.

In Hope's case, she retreated into Flight by living in a state of deep depression. I'm very pleased to report that she was able to overcome being easily offended and is living a healthy and happy, productive and joyous life now.

She got all her issues resolved by using Energy Medicine.

Energy Medicine
is an affordable and easily acquired tool to help us live our lives with truth and love so we can be well and happy; joyous and productive.

H1N1 Vaccinations?

This blog post is dedicated to my favorite chiro guy on the planet: The eminent Dr. G. H. Hanssen in Grand Island, Nebraska. He is a Healer, a Teacher and a Leader and has the best sense of humor of any health practitioner I have ever encountered.

The media hype is frenzied. Every electronic and print journalist is reporting about how important it would be to get in line, roll up your sleeve and take your medicine. All in the name of the H1N1 Flu "Pandemic."

Do you realize how insane that is? Perhaps not, so I shall share with you the opinions of someone from the Chiropractic field.

I'm fond of chiropractic. Before I learned to be a massage therapist our family depended on chiropractic before calling the family doctor. I hasten to explain that a chiropractor helped my father regain his ability to walk, following a "spell" with his lower back. Doc Johnson's phone always rang before we thought of calling Dr. Clark, M.D. When Dr. John Cortner, a legendary chiropractic healer and teacher in Manhattan Kansas got wind of my interest in massage therapy he invited me to work in his clinic to learn all he could teach me. It was a blessing for me and those I could help as a result.

Dr. Donald E Harte is a member of the World Chiropractic Alliance Board of International Governors. He has written with humor and heart about the problem of vaccinations. He writes about the manufactured frenzy over the H1N1 flu, and whether or not vaccinations are in order. He and I agree: THEY ARE NOT.

Dr. Harte mentions the incidences in the 1970s of Gulliam-Barre Syndrome and other diseases and 23 deaths attributed to these injections. He also mentions that the doctors interviewed for the study agreed that they would NOT administer the injections to their own family members. Telling, isn't it?

A former chief vaccine officer of the FDA, J Anthony Morris said, "There is no evidence that any influenza vaccine thus far developed is effective in preventing or mitigating any attack of influenza. The producers of these vaccines know they are worthless, but they go on selling them anyway."

SO! It is the immune system that protects us from the flu-and any other infectious disease-and it is the immune system which makes every effort to help us regain our well being. The immune system is coordinated and controlled by the nervous system. AHA! That's where chiropractic care comes into the picture.

Chiropractic care makes for better operating and more efficiently run nervous systems and all the studies support scientific data showing this to be the case.

Our own family was greatly affected by the Flu Pandemic of 1918. Just a few miles from our house an entire family of relatives died because of the dreaded disease. History suggests it is estimated that family was one of the 25 to 40 million people who died then because of the flu. History also tells us that people who were under chiropractic care at that time were far less susceptible to the ravages of the illness.

In just one example: In 1918 in Davenport, Iowa 93,590 patients were treated. There were only 6,116 deaths-one of 15 succumbed to the flu. At the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport 1,635 people were treated for the flu with only 1 fatality. Outside of Davenport the figures were equally amazing:

With standard medical care: 1 in 17 died

Using Osteopathy: 1 in 36 died

Chiropractic care: 1 in 866 died

I rest my case.

These stats were collected well before
Energy Medicine had come along. Thank goodness in today's world we can utilize Energy Medicine, along with everything I've learned in massage therapy training, all the nutrition I've been nagging you about AND good chiropractic care! That's good, for our very well being depends on these critical aspects.

Vaccinations for the H1N1 flu? Not so much, thank you.

Whole Foods and Food Supplements?

Dr. Nancy Snyderman, is a highly respected physician who appears on NBC TV. She made a statement this morning that not only shocked me; I was offended.

Here's what she said, "Parents, you are wasting your money if you give your children supplements. It gives them nothing they cannot get from their food."

Oh, really? I guess Dr. Nancy did not get the memo the Feds sent out in 1936: They announced that the soils in this country were depleted. I know nothing about an updated memo letting us know that the soils are now full of nutrition. I have noticed that there are a great number of genetically modified foods, but that's another blog post for a different day.

Dr. Snyderman's medical training has led her to believe that supplementing a child's diet-or an adult's, for that matter-with elements the body needs to maintain or regain vibrant good health is a waste.

Frankly, I don't know whether that is just sad or if it is sinister. Dr. Snyderman is a good woman. She has a family and successful career; she is being her best self, I'm sure. It's just that the information she has and shares so willingly is UNTRUE. The system is set up so as to mislead, misinform and misuse people, in my humble opinion.

Here is the truth of the matter: The human body must have nutrition in adequate amounts from WHOLE FOODS and to supplement those whole foods with more of the same will get you healthier and keep you healthy as long as you also drink good water and plenty of it; as long as you get enough quality sleep and exercise AND if you keep your emotional, spiritual, and social life balanced. Moreover, if you have access to ORGANIC WHOLE FOODS, so much the better.

Another facet to well being is Energy Medicine. Never underestimate the power and efficacy of energy medicine to enhance lives even though you cannot see, touch, taste or smell it! The human body is designed by its Creator to heal itself from the top down, from the inside out, from the left side to the right side and from the present to the past. The wisdom of the body to be well has been seriously disregarded, particularly by Big Medicine and Big Pharma. But Mother Connie has known this for a very long time and I know in my heart of hearts that this is true.

Please use whole foods. Buy organic whole foods if you can. Drink your water. Take your vitamins and minerals-there are a LOT of good ones available; there is even healthy coffee! Move your body, get plenty of sleep and fun and please look into Energy Medicine and see how it can improve the lives of the people in your circle. Just click here for truthful information.

H1N1 Flu Shots?

The Center for Disease Control and the media are getting on my last nerve!

The CDC and every television network are mongering fear and flu shots and I have had it with this misery! The last straw came when I heard on the "news" that they now want everyone to inquire about a vaccine recently made available for shingles.

Who knows why I did not have a stroke when that came across the airwaves. Must be my great diet of whole foods, super filtered water and my new exercise regimen. Or maybe it could be my stress relief strategies. Yes, all that must have helped me to remain intact.

Anne Shuchat, of the Center for Disease Control, says her agency is 'strongly recommending' immunization for kids aged 6 to 18. The same agency is advising mothers of teen aged girls to be immunized against the papaloma virus, too. I'm sure Anne and her cohorts would be ecstatic if we all lined up to have shots for shingles.

It makes me angry to have everyone all in a dither over a flu that may or may not arrive. To promote vaccinations is, in my humble opinion, pure evil.

The main 'selling point' for the CDC insisting that every man, woman, and child needs this vaccination is that deaths from this particular flu have been recorded. What they fail to mention is that in every case, there was an underlying health issue-and medical treatment-that contributed to flu sufferers' demise.

Why can't we take a more pragmatic approach? Why can't the CDC offer people vitamins and minerals and suggest they eat well and wisely? Why can't the CDC understand that the human body is NEVER deficient in toxic medications and vaccinations? It is most likely to be deficient in nutrients, which help the immune system to protect us from flu, colds, allergies and more drastic things. I shudder to ponder the REAL reasons why the CDC won't do the above mentioned items.

The medical care delivery system is irreparably damaged. Our insurance system is beyond belief, it's so badly upset. The whole approach to medical care is upside-down in the United States and completely and utterly fails the people. If we don't take full responsibility for own well being and stand up to the bullies who insist "the government knows what's best for us" we'll be shot! With a hypodermic needle.

This diatribe is not meant to be incendiary. It is offered with good intent in love and truth. It may make you squirm and you may feel icky when you read it but I want you to understand that this is the absolute truth. Learn how to be well. Learn how to optimize your health. Don't be a victim in this movement to "help" that is not helpful in the least bit.

The Healing Codes: The Dark Truth?

Every authority on the planet agrees that stress causes problems. Here are five things stress causes in the human body:
  1. It makes us sick. 80 to 100% of all illness is stress related.
  2. It enervates us. We are not only SICK but we are TIRED.
  3. It dumbs us down. Decreased blood flow literally drains our I Q.
  4. It creates negativity in our energy, causing bad feelings.
  5. It causes us to fail.
Stress response-not the GOOD kind, which protects us from imminent danger like bears and fires-is caused from LIES.

Here's how it works: Stress is noted in the hypothalamus gland. Real stress, like a threat from a knife or a gun gives us the cue to take flight or to fight. This kind of stress is meant to happen on a once-a-month basis or less.

In today's world, with a crummy economy, too much traffic, more responsibility than we care to bear and all the details of survival, we might have that flight/fight response 10, 20, even 30 times IN ONE DAY!

The worst of that is that all those stress responses are probably triggered by a LIE. The heart knows the truth, so there is conflict between the truth of the stress and the falsehood: I might ask myself: "Am I really going to fall off a cliff?" Probably not in most cases. So the lie causes me stress.

The important thing to remember is to live your life IN TRUTH. Have the COURAGE to tell it like it is. Keep it real. If you don't want to go to lunch with the guy who works at the desk next to yours, be honest and say so. Be kind and loving, but be honest. Tell him, "Golly. This is more about me than you, Tom. I just don't want to do lunch with you today. Nothing personal; I'm just telling you my feelings." Tom will respect you much more than if you tell him a story about how you must make a phone call. And your heart will know you are living your truth.

We probably are not bank robbers and we are most likely not having illicit affairs and we probably are not embezzling funds from our companies. Those are the big things. But in the little matters of life, those dark truths-LIES-we tend to gloss over that kind of behavior.

Energy medicine
can sweep the dirt off the floor of our hearts and help us to live our truth; we can live our lives in loving, caring ways and become de-stressed and healthier in the process.

Do you have health issues? Are your relationships satisfying and rich? If not, you would be very wise to investigate energy medicine and The Healing Codes.

If you or someone you love has benefited from The Healing Codes, we hope you will place a comment here for all to know how someone has been helped.

The Healing Codes: "Why Can't I ___?"

Do you struggle?

Is your weight, your mood, your income a constant source of stress for you?

Have you ever been told to JUST-fill in the blank-LOSE the weight? Or JUST GET OVER IT? How about this one: JUST work harder!

Yeah, right. If all it took were WILL POWER, the fight would have ended and we would not need assistance to overcome the issue!

Here's the short answer about WHY we can't fill in our blanks: Your HEART disagrees with your HEAD.

Let me cite you an example: If I lay out a steel beam that's 6" wide and 8 ' long and offered you $100.00 to walk across that beam, you probably would jump at the chance and when it was over, you 'd declare that was the easiest hundred bucks you ever made.

THEN, if I moved that beam and placed it between two step ladders with people holding the ladders steady and offered you the same deal, you'd shudder. Most people would decline. Statistics indicate only 4 in 10 would make an attempt to walk the beam under those conditions.

FURTHERMORE, if we took that same beam and laid it over the edge of one tall city building to the edge of another tall city building and offered $10,000.00 to walk across the very same beam during city rush hour there would be hardly any takers!

That's because the HEART and HEAD are conflicted and when that happens, the heart, seeking to protect us, always wins!

These are not my ideas. Dr. Bruce Lipton and Professor William Tiller have shown proof through quantum physics and scientific studies that when the head and the heart are in conflict, the heart ALWAYS serves to protect the body. That is JOB ONE for the heart. The heart ALWAYS protectively overrides the head. ALWAYS.

That's why will power has little bearing on whether we eat properly or follow our exercise routine or make a blog post! All we want is for the pain of our struggle to go away.

Dr. Lipton recommends that we all need something like
The Healing Codes to repair the programming of the heart, the sub-conscious. If there is faulty programming and our beliefs are incorrect The Healing Codes can gently work with the body to reprogram the incorrect ideas so our heart and our head can work in tandem. That harmony will give us the results we want in life.

If you are in pain because you worry about money issues; if you struggle with your weight; if you are chronically depressed; if you have experienced trauma or deep sadness you need to understand that Energy Medicine can help you.

Father's Day?

Unless you have been living in a cave you are acutely aware that Father's Day is to be observed on Sunday, June 21.

As I hung laundry on the clothesline this morning, I reminisced about my dad. I have a lifetime of delightful memories of my dad; we were very close and I still miss hearing him whistle, snoring in his big chair, and having him swoop into the kitchen to check every cupboard.

My very first memory of my dad was in my bassinet. I remember distinctly how my mom and dad peered in at me, and I remember that they looked like proud young parents. I can still see Dad in my mind's eye, gathering tomatoes from his bountiful garden behind our house in South Omaha. I remember how he wore the same glasses for years and years and years and how delighted we all were when his eyesight improved. I was equally sad much later, when he had to have cataracts removed.

My dad could do anything. Well, that was my perception. He pretty much COULD do anything: he'd survived a pretty brutal childhood during hard times and a father who got hurt and could not work. He managed to get an education beyond high school and he had the kind of personality that carried him a long way in winning people to him. He was a buyer, a salesperson, a grocer, a city councilman; even Mayor. He sat on the school board and signed my diploma.

SIDEBAR: No, that's not the only reason I graduated high school! END SIDEBAR.

One of the favorite times in my life was when we lived in the tiny town of Elwood., Nebraska. My parents owned the packaged liquor store there and it was my job to sort pop bottles. Dad and I would spend time in the store and when business was slow, he would go through the Collier's magazines and explain the cartoons to me. That's when I learned to appreciate humor and Dad's special brand of humor, where his eyes twinkled and danced and he would grin out of the corner of his mouth.

Dad never let anything in life get him down. When he and Mom split up I worried about how he'd manage. He was retired, not used to keeping house, and I was curious. I inquired, "Dad, what will you DO?" I don't know what kind of response I expected, but he floored me with this: "I'm going to sign up for cooking classes." And he DID. He was a pretty darned good cook, too.

He'd had major disappointments and I don't mean his only daughter! He once lost an election for a county office he was pretty confident he'd win. Instead of pouting or blaming as some might have, he took a job in that office and helped his one time opponent. I thought that took a certain amount of moxie.

I found a birthday card for him once that tickled my funny bone. On the outside was a beautiful ancient golden scroll that announced, "GOOD NEWS!" and inside was this message: "They've found your birth certificate!" We all laughed till we nearly choked and my dad laughed the loudest and longest.

Here's hoping YOU have delicious memories of YOUR dad. I'd love for you to fill the comment box with your stories and accounts. You can remain anonymous or you can take out bragging rights for yourself, whatever suits your fancy.

Wisdom of Solomon?

Professor William Tiller is a Quantum Physicist at Stanford University. He is an author and researcher; furthermore, he is featured in the film, "What the Bleep Do We Know?"

Here is something he said: "Future medicine will be based on controlling energy in the body."

WOW! What a concept! No more attacking the body with toxic agents! No more slicing! No more burning! Just gently working WITH the body to do what the body has been designed to do.

This is not a new concept, you understand. THREE THOUSAND YEARS AGO the king who was known for his wisdom, King Solomon, advised that men should guard their heart above all else, for from it flow all the issues of life. The heart King Solomon referred to was not the heart that beats within our chest but the 'I love you with all of my heart' heart.

Energy Medicine is but a tool. If you need a hammer, there's no need for a Jackhammer. If you need medicine, it need not be toxic medicine. Energy Medicine is as simple as ABC. It is non invasive, non toxic, not expensive and it can be done as often or a seldom as one desires. If you are interested to know how one man, a very sick medical doctor, was relieved of a most draconian diagnosis, CLICK HERE.

Cancer is Not a Disease?

Here is a concept to wrap your head around: According to author Andreas Moritz, cancer is not so much a disease as it is a survival mechanism.

In Moritz' book "Cancer is Not a Disease" he embraces the notion that cancer is not a separate illness; rather, cancer is the result of specific, identifiable causes. He maintains that removing those very causes will set the precondition for the body, mind and even emotions to become healed and whole once more.

Interesting to me is a theme that runs through the book: "Cancer does not cause a person to be sick; it is the sickness of the person that causes cancer."

This is precisely what the The Healing Codes espouses. Dr. Alex Loyd and Dr. Ben Johnson have spoken and written extensively about the heart as the "image maker" and how we must heal our hearts in order to heal our bodies.

Shakespeare said, "To thine own self be true." Andreas Moritz, Dr. Alex Loyd, Dr. Ben Johnson and William Shakespeare are all in agreement. If we are to be well- really and truly well in the true sense of the word-we must heal our hearts and learn about our sickness so we can become whole.

To accomplish this does not entail the use of remedies that attack, burn, or poison our physical bodies. It does call for the wise use of non-invasive and gentle Energy Medicine.

I fail to see the good, for example, of a "cure" that demands the presence of a HazMat team when a prescription is spilled in a health facility. It makes more sense to me that we care enough to love one another in healthy ways.

SIDEBAR: Hm...Wasn't there a major character in the Holy Bible who admonished His followers to Love One Another? END SIDEBAR.

The Healing Codes have enhanced the quality of my life, the lives of my family members and people in my circle of influence. It is my fervent hope you will open your heart to its value and benefit from this valuable tool, as well.

Is There Wisdom in Energy Medicine?

Is it just me, or are there more awful diseases being diagnosed these days? It seems that everyone I talk to has someone in their circle of influence who is seriously ill or has received a draconian diagnosis.

All this ill health makes me want to wrap my arms around folks and "fix" them.

I am well aware that I cannot "fix" ANYbody. When I work with their colors or help them with The Healing Codes , I am only a facilitator-a hollow reed, if you will.

What alarms me is that none of us was ever meant to suffer with poor health, lack, or anything we don't enjoy. Yet, people suffer undue angst and anguish.

What if it did not have to be that way? What if something could turn on our immune systems, reduce stress and make us completely free from the illnesses and unhappiness that keep us from our bliss?

The good news is that something can. And does. It is called ENERGY MEDICINE. This modality was developed by Dr. Alex Loyd in 2001 because he was determined to help his wife be free of depression. The program came to him-most likely via Divine Intervention-on an airplane trip! The cellular memory that was causing his wife to have issues was healed and she is free from that bondage to this day!

Dr. Ben Johnson managed and worked in cancer clinics. When he was given the news that he had developed Lou Gehrig's Disease he asked Dr. Loyd to help him. He used ENERGY MEDICINE and in FIVE WEEKS, that draconian diagnosis ceased to exist for Dr. Johnson!

Larry Napier, who serves at Dr. Loyd's mentor, complained of what his medical consultants termed a basal cell carcinoma. In justTWO DAYS after beginning to use ENERGY MEDICINE he saw improvement and within FIVE WEEKS that spot had vanished from his arm!

Solomon, in his wisdom, knew about this ancient healing but modern science is just now catching up to this remarkable way of wellness. ENERGY MEDICINE is taking its rightful place as it comes to the forefront of modern medical care.

Please do not wait for a serious illness to strike you or someone you love. Look immediately into ENERGY MEDICINE !

Do You Crave Energy?

Time was when middle aged people complained of feeling tired. Older people were just assumed to be tired; why else would the nursing home routine include naps?

TODAY it's the teen aged kids who are complaining of being tired. I have observed that group to be plagued by head colds, bad skin, and even memory loss. I am so old that I recall that issue was reserved for the elders in our midst!

What could be the difference? Certainly the environment is at issue. I'm sure most every age group has trouble getting to sleep at a decent hour; this accounts for their grogginess and lack of cheer as morning arrives. If folks eat breakfast at all, it may be someting to fill their pie holes that is sugary or has the goodness processed out of it. Worse, it may be NUKED in a microwave oven! It's highly unlikely people who feel tired and sluggish are getting the proper water. YOU KNOW HOW I AM ABOUT WATER.

Here's what really gets my goat: the ginormous amounts of "energy drinks" that are being consumed. Every age group is buying these but teens are buying them as if there'll be no tomorrow!

I have a news flash for those peeps: If it's energy you are seeking, you would benefit greatly from energy medicine . Even the NIH-National Institute for Health-recognizes energy medicine! There really and truly is scientific proof to support the whole concept of energy medicine.

Because we all suffer from the human condition, we grab for a cold energy drink when all our hearts crave is some peace, joy, and love. If we live our lives in truth and with love, our NEEDS won't be outpaced with the stress of life.

Our lives are fraught with decisions. We are able to control the many decisions we make. We have control over whether or not to imbibe in an energy drink or choose a healthy glass of water. We can decide on our own to watch videos til all hours or retire for a long night's rest and rejuvenation.

I fear that if this society does not mend its ways the nursing homes will be filled with people who need care and nobody will fit to be hired. Even if they do get a nursing home position, they'll be taking breaks, chugging down energy drinks, leaving residents to fend for themelves! This would not be good.

Let's lift our glasses high and drink to everyone's vibrant, radiant good health! Then, how about if we all plan to get to bed at a decent hour tonight?

Is John DiLemme Correct?

John DiLemme said it:
"Doubt and Decision can never share the same heart."
At first glance, one might be persuaded Mr. DiLemme's statement to be factual. But, on second thought, let's take a closer peek...
When considered from the perspective of Energy Medicine we can look at the issues of the heart.
The famed Dr. Alex Loyd, makes this critical point: "BELIEF is an issue of the heart." He maintains that everyone on the planet does 100% of what we do 100% of the time because of what we BELIEVE. I hasten to add that our beliefs may be wrong or incorrect!
Dr. Loyd offered this example: A man decides to exercise every morning, so he sets his alarm clock. At 6 AM when the alarm sounds, the man groans, turns off the alarm and rolls over to catch more ZZZ's. The man in question, for whatever reason, BELIEVES he should not exercise!
Dr. Loyd insists that if you are not eating according to your food plan, it's because you BELIEVE you should not! Furthermore, if you are not managing your stress, there is a BELIEF that sways you NOT to manage your stress, no matter how stressful your life becomes!
CONVERSELY, you may ALSO-at the same time-believe you SHOULD exercise or SHOULD eat according to your food plan or SHOULD manage your stress.
How on earth can that be posssible?
It's possible because there are two opposing ideals. THE HEART CARRIES THE TRUTH. Our brain carries the ideas. Our beliefs can PROTECT us from HEALING our HEART TRUTHS!
By living our lives in fear, based on falsehoods, we will opt to choose unwisely, based on our beliefs. On the other hand, when we live in truth, love and joy we will choose wisely.
I don't disagree with Mr. DiLemme. I just think Mr. D hasn't heard the ideas espoused by and lived by and taught the way Dr. Loyd has. I suspect Energy Medicine could be a new concept to him, bless his heart.
Energy Medicine might be a new concept for YOU, too. If that's the case, I cordially invite you to Click Here and learn how you, too, can heal your heart and live a much more joyous life.
