Emotions, feelings and desires are the powers that push people to take action.
--Remez Sasson

At our recent Toastmasters meeting of LibOrators our Table Topics Master asked me to discuss a matter with passion, which I was charmed to do.

Some people shy away from their emotions and do not express their feelings with passion. Maybe they think others will disagree with them; perhaps they fear that someone will show disdain for them for making any statement. It may be that they have not identified their feeling and because of that, they simply have not formed any opinion. Or they do not really admit-even to themselves- what it is they truly desire.

In any case, you can know with every fiber of your being that people-ALL PEOPLE-have been programmed from birth forward to believe something, even if that something is incorrect.

It's a matter of perception, really. The small child may PERCEIVE that his busy mother is ignoring him, so he misbehaves to draw her attention to him. This causes Mommy to focus on the child so the youngster PERCEIVES that he must be naughty to get Mommy's attention. I'll bet you have children like that on your block! I know guys like that who took a trip to prison!

We all do whatever it is we do because of what we believe. And what we THINK we believe may just well be a lot of bad programming! Dr. Alex Loyd refers to this as "heart junk" and when he refers to the heart, he means the 'I love you with all my heart' heart.

The truth lives in our I-love-you-with-all-my-heart heart. The unconscious mind sends messages to the brain, which is the image maker. We all have this; we think in pictures with our conscious minds.

King Solomon knew this centuries ago. Do you suppose that's how Solomon earned the reputation for being so wise?

Science has caught up to what Solomon knew. They agree that most illnesses are borne of stress.

When we live without truth, we also forfeit joy. First, we become stressed. It's our bodies' way of responding. The stress wears the body out until we become ill. All because of not living with truth and love! We cram more heart junk into our lives than our cells can process!

Of course we can undo all that stressful, untruthful living if we but employ a simple tool called Energy Medicine. To learn what Energy Medicine can do for people, please click on these words to visit The Healing Codes.

You have seen quotes on this blog by Dr. Bruce Lipton. Soon I will be publishing a book review about his book, "The Biology of Belief." I hope you will look forward to reading that.

Life was never meant to be stressful or joyless or without love and caring. We can all be well and happy if we understand ourselves with clarity and use the tools sent from Heaven to create the kinds of lives we dream. What might Energy Medicine do for YOU and those you love?

The Healing Codes: Five Reasons You Will Benefit?

Mother Connie is a loyal fan of The Healing Codes.

You have seen my rants, my raves and my blog posts about the Healing Codes for some time now. Today I want to share with you five reasons-there are jillions more-why you will benefit from using The Healing Codes:

  1. You will take charge of your own health. In doing so, you'll feel healthier AND YOUNGER than ever before. SIDEBAR: How do you think I've stayed 33 all these years? Grin. END SIDEBAR
  2. You will go far beyond the same tired, old advice you've heard your whole life. A very large number of "hopeless cases" were found to have delightful results with the refreshing approach of The Healing Codes.
  3. Targeted solutions go directly to ameliorate the issues created from stress in the heart. The destructive pictures there are erased and replaced with images borne of love and truth.
  4. You can lower your health care costs. Most times we are spending those hard earned dollars for Disease Mismanagement, anyway.
  5. You will no longer deal with false findings, risky and invasive procedures, costly toxic drugs or needless surgeries because The Healing Codes will help you be radiantly, glowingly healthy in every aspect of your life.
You needn't take Mother Connie's word for it, though. See for yourself. CLICK HERE for more information.

What would it mean to you and your family for everyone to experience these five benefits from The Healing Codes?

The Healing Codes: The Dark Truth?

Every authority on the planet agrees that stress causes problems. Here are five things stress causes in the human body:
  1. It makes us sick. 80 to 100% of all illness is stress related.
  2. It enervates us. We are not only SICK but we are TIRED.
  3. It dumbs us down. Decreased blood flow literally drains our I Q.
  4. It creates negativity in our energy, causing bad feelings.
  5. It causes us to fail.
Stress response-not the GOOD kind, which protects us from imminent danger like bears and fires-is caused from LIES.

Here's how it works: Stress is noted in the hypothalamus gland. Real stress, like a threat from a knife or a gun gives us the cue to take flight or to fight. This kind of stress is meant to happen on a once-a-month basis or less.

In today's world, with a crummy economy, too much traffic, more responsibility than we care to bear and all the details of survival, we might have that flight/fight response 10, 20, even 30 times IN ONE DAY!

The worst of that is that all those stress responses are probably triggered by a LIE. The heart knows the truth, so there is conflict between the truth of the stress and the falsehood: I might ask myself: "Am I really going to fall off a cliff?" Probably not in most cases. So the lie causes me stress.

The important thing to remember is to live your life IN TRUTH. Have the COURAGE to tell it like it is. Keep it real. If you don't want to go to lunch with the guy who works at the desk next to yours, be honest and say so. Be kind and loving, but be honest. Tell him, "Golly. This is more about me than you, Tom. I just don't want to do lunch with you today. Nothing personal; I'm just telling you my feelings." Tom will respect you much more than if you tell him a story about how you must make a phone call. And your heart will know you are living your truth.

We probably are not bank robbers and we are most likely not having illicit affairs and we probably are not embezzling funds from our companies. Those are the big things. But in the little matters of life, those dark truths-LIES-we tend to gloss over that kind of behavior.

Energy medicine
can sweep the dirt off the floor of our hearts and help us to live our truth; we can live our lives in loving, caring ways and become de-stressed and healthier in the process.

Do you have health issues? Are your relationships satisfying and rich? If not, you would be very wise to investigate energy medicine and The Healing Codes.

If you or someone you love has benefited from The Healing Codes, we hope you will place a comment here for all to know how someone has been helped.

How's The Weather?

Wasn't it Mark Twain who said that everybody TALKS about the weather, but nobody DOES anything about it?

While that may be true, there is NO family on earth who TALKS about weather more than the family I married! The first time I heard the voice on the calling end of the phone say, "Well, is it raining there?" before we heard 'hello?' I didn't think much of it. But I soon learned that EVERY phone conversation, no matter who places the call, begins with some question or comment about the weather. SERIOUSLY.

It took a very long time to understand the genesis of this family trait. My beloved groom assured me that it was because the family was involved in farming and they depended heavily on news about the weather. I wasn't so sure that was it...

The entire Baum family is as concerned with weather as I am with health and healing. And people. I began to wonder if each interest had reached a point of obsession...???...I needn't have worried about either issue, but sometimes THAT'S WHAT I DO. my bad

The family compiled a detailed genealogy book and there, big as guffy, was a page in it that explained why these people are so interested in clouds, rain, temperature, and all the rest of it. By the way, there IS no explanation of my fascination with health or healing.

The Baum family came from Germany. Grandma Salomea Baum was a keen weather watcher. This tradition has been passed down, since some of her grandchildren became official weather monitors for the National Weather Bureau. Even the ones who were not official record keepers had journals, chronicling the details of weather on a daily basis. They all kept careful, written records of rainfall, snowfall, temperatures and such like. Grandma Baum would have been so proud.

Here are some of Grandma's "weather sayings":

1. Sun dogs in the east; hard on man and beast.

2. Sun dogs in the west; it is the very best.

3. Wind in the east; hard on man and beast.

4. Wind in the south; the rain's in its mouth

5. Wind in the west; it is the best

6. Rainbow in the morning; sailors, take warning.

7. Strong south wind for three days means rain.

8. If it rains on the night that the moon is full; it will be a hard rain.

9. Whatever the weather is like on the last Friday of the month determines the next month's weather.

10.Wind in the southeast on the first day of spring means a dry summer.

11.If the sun sets behind a cloud bank on Friday night it will rain before Monday morning.

12.Rain on Easter Sunday means rain for seven Sundays.

This gives you a teeny sample of Grandma Baum's wisdom. I'll save the rest for another time or so. Meantime, I hope you will be as wise as Grandma Baum in terms of WEATHERING the stress of this economy and any health issues you may be facing. Most people have aches or pains that can be weather related. Those are the folks who can greatly benefit from The Healing Codes. Pass the word, won't you please? And do remember we wish you well.

Are You Ready For Christmas?

This is the standard question wherever people gather as they go about their lives this time of year. And many times the answer is in the negative. People are worried about the economy and travel details. There are programs and parties and practices; some are dealing with recent loss of loved ones or the war has family members living afar. They have food to prepare, gifts to choose and wrap and mail...the whole Christmas season can be overwhelming.

There was a time when I, too, got caught up in the details of matching all the Christmas ornaments for the tree with the color of my child's hair ribbons and hand made Christmas dress. The food had to be JUST SO; the house had to look perfect; I thought I had to be perfect.

It will come as no surprise to those in my circle of influence to note that am not perfect. Nor is my house or my food or much of anything else in my life.

There may have been a period in my life when I fell prey to the famous gurus, slick magazine pages and savvy television ads who tout perfection in every aspect of the holiday observances when I did too much, slept too little, baked and ate too many holiday goodies, said 'yes' to too many commitments and cried buckets of tears over what I can't even remember now. Either I heeded my mother's advice or I matured or I just finally GOT IT.

In any case, I got over STUFF the way you get over the flu. Over time I have learned to shake my head in the negative and match that with a nice smile and firm "no, thank you" and I recognize the importance of relaxing and breathing! I don't get all worked up any more over decorating - after all, whatever you put up must be taken down and put away - and I surely do not bake and eat too many holiday goodies any more.

It's not that I am against any of the holiday traditions. It's more a matter of having learned to live within my own limitations.

We watched a wonderful program on TV about the lighting of a Christmas tree. It was very sweet and beautiful and timely. My husband and I looked at one another and I asked him if he had to have lights and music to put himself in the Christmas spirit. He just grinned at me. That grin said it all. He does not need stuff, or lights, or music or cookies to put him into a giving, loving, joyful mood. He lives that way every day of the year.

Well, now that I think about it, he may like to leave the Christmas goodies in place...

If you struggle with the stress and busy-ness of the holidays and you feel less than delighted by the whole season, you may want to scope out a helpful source of stress relief: The Healing Codes
